Although I would much rather eat my avocado and bananas, I sometimes make the sacrifice and treat my hair by using them to make a super easy DIY deep conditioner. All you need to do is throw in all the ingredients below in a blender and there you have a super moisturising conditioner. If you want to add mayonnaise or egg to it to make it into a protein treatment, that’s fine. Whenever I use it, my hair is always super shiny and feels really soft.

Ingredients properties

Lauric acid is found in coconut oil and is known to have better results than other oils when it comes to improving hair health. Moisture is essential for healthy hair and regular and consistent use of coconut oil is a beneficial technique. Banana is know to create manageability, shine, growth and controls dandruff.
